More info

Apparently inducing early brings on a lot of different opinions. Some members of our family for sure. But..........we are going ahead with the induction. All things considered, we feel that it's best for our family. Yes, we know the labor may be harder, but she is prepared for that and we are confident that our Dr. would not do anything to put either of them in jeopardy. She is awesome, if a little uncomventional. Apparently, it's the 'new' thing around here; we know several people who have been induced at 38 or so weeks.

Anyway, we are remaining happy and a little panicked at all we still have to do, but Bella will be here in 29 days!!!

Oh, and we are having another ultrasound on the 18th just to make sure everything is on track. WooHoo!!!!

I just left a comment on your last post before reading this one. Very excited for you. My partner's cousin, who's a nurse in NICU, says that after 38 weeks, the baby is ready and the last two weeks are just to torture the mother!

29 days!

I wouldn't be to worried about inducing at 38 weeks as this is considered term. I've seen a couple times doctors inducing at 36 which seems a little goofy to me if the baby isn't in distress but 38 weeks should be fine.
