.........but an adorable bully. Occasionally, I see small bits of Angelica in her, especially with Elliot. Elliot is a sweet, kind, self-focused little man. He is very gentle and careful about everything. Cylie is a bull in a china closet; she has her sweet moments and does think about and share with other people. She's a daredevil; nothing is too high or too unstable to climb on or jump off of. She's rough and loves hard.
She is in complete control of Elliot; she adores him, but tortures him.
Here's the scene from the other day in the backyard. It was very warm so they were all in their shorts and enjoying the sun. They all had cups of water. With no warning at all, Cylie suddenly snatches Elliot's cup and heads at full speed, as fast as her chubby little legs will carry her, to the back fence, which is about 6 feet tall. She has the cup in her raised hand above her head and it occurs to me - watching helplessly, but laughing hysterically inside - that she has every intention of throwing that cup over the fence into the neighbors yard. She reaches the fence and throws it as hard as she can. Of course, it just bounces off. She's bad.
A little later, Elliot was standing around and I suggested that he go drive the Little Tykes Coupe that we have. Well, as he headed towards the car, Miss Cylie - who had overheard - took off in a dead bolt to the car. Seeing that she couldn't beat him to the side with the door, she dove head first into the passenger side window.
Poor Elliot! She doesn't do this with Colby, who is a daring and outgoing as she is.
I MUST start keeping the video camera close to me. :)
