6-month checkup

Well, she's perfectly average. She's at the 50%ile for her head, height and weight. She weighs 15 lbs 13 oz and is 25.25 inches long.

She wasn't able to get her shots as they were out, but I'm OK with that. We wanted to put her on a delayed schedule anyway and now we have a good excuse.

Her next appt is her 9-month checkup in July and she will then have her toe x-rayed again for surgery in August. Not looking forward to that at all; that will be the longest 2 hours of my life!!!!!

After her appt, we went by to see Liz at work and was able to get a few more pictures. I'll post them all tomorrow. She really doesn't like to smile at the shop. We may have to do them at home.

She's now rolling from front to back as well, but not as often. She rolls from back to front every time you put her down on her back even though she prefers her back. She also scooted herself forward just a bit by accident; I don't expect that to happen again for a little while.

As for the PKD..........I spoke with the Dr.'s assistant about her referral and they are dragging their feet a bit. She promised me a call back in the next 48 hours. We'll see.

We bought her a high chair and she loves it. We opted for one that strap to the dining chair as we always want her to sit with us and it will sit flat on the ground and is more portable for camping and such. She's now eating cereal at night and green beans in the day. We'll try peas next week.

Oh, and she's going to bed every night (after cereal, clean up, her bottle and a little rocking with Mommy) around 8:30 and she has slept until at least 6 for 3 of the last 4 nights. Nice!!
