Imagine

Last night as we lay in bed conversing before sleep, we had the following conversation:

Me: Imagine, someday there will be an openly gay or lesbian president.

Liz: THAT will never happen.

Me: You know, this very conversation probably happened somewhere in someone's bed 50 or so years ago, only is was black and not gay or lesbian.

Liz: Hmmmmm

Someday, we will have our freedom as well. I am still on a high for the awesome turn this country has taken and the hope that we all feel.
