Last night, for the first time in YEARS, my two sisters and I went 'out'. Just saying that sounds a little juvenile to me. Anyway, we had heard that a guy (again, juvenile) that we grew up with rund Karaoke at a local bar, so we decided to surprise him.

We went to dinner, had many, many laughs, then on to the bar for even more laughs, then we topped off the night with a midnight trip to the cemetary where Mother is buried. Next Thursday will be the 2-year anniversary of her death and one of my sisters, who just moved here from AZ had never been to her grave. It was bittersweet to be there, but I'm glad we went.

It was nice to be with my sisters and no one else; it's a very rare occasion that we are all together with no kids, grandkids, spouses, etc. We are going to try really hard to do it more often.
