After our OB appt on Tuesday, we went over to the hospital to check things out and make sure that we are all registered and ready to go.
We asked one of the nurses on the OB floor to show us around. She was very friendly and at one point in the conversation she asked, "Are you guys together?" We replied that we were and she said that she thought we looked familiar. Apparently, we've seen her at the lesbian dinner club we go to occasionally...........LesDine. Very cool! She even said that she'd make sure she was working on the 9th when we are scheduled for unduction.
About the rooms........the labor/delivery room was awesome; very homey and not a lot of medical supplies or equipment. I'm sure there will be more on that day, but it was very nice with a comfy looking oversized chair that folds out into a bed for me. The patient rooms are not quite as big and nice, but compared to the other hospitals in this town, it's perfect!!!!

Sounds like a great hospital visit and how awesome of that nurse! It is getting so close!
That's cool about getting to tour the OB and L&D unit. Also about the nurse who recognized you. As far as the equipment in the L&D room, it's all there, just well hidden.
