14 months old

Can you believe that? Oy! How did that happen?

She's still a petite little thing..............she weighs 20 pounds 8 ounces and is barely into 12-month clothing. The onsies hang down between her knees. She wears size 3 shoe (we're happy that she can finally wear shoes), and is still in size 3 diapers and has plenty of room in them.

Her day looks a little like this:

Up right around 7.......Mommy Liz gets her out of bed and brings her to Mama in bed for a diaper change; she then joins Mommy in the bathroom where Mommy is getting ready for work. Mama is up and in the shower by 7:20 and Mommy leaves at 7:30 right about the time Cylie arrives for the day.

Breakfast at 7:45 when Hunter arrives for the day. She usually eats oatmeal with applesauce, waffles or scrambled eggs with toast and always drinks a big cup of whole milk.

After breakfast she has some free-play with the other kids while Mama cleans up after breadfast and starts laundry. We then have some group play or storytime and she is ready for a nap by 9:30ish.

She gets up just in time for lunch at 11:30, then it's Mama and Bella time while everyone else naps (Colby arrives at 12:30). Although she tries her best to get them up; especially Cylie.

Then, everyone is up by 2:30/3 and we have snack, then more play until around 3:30 when she needs a little 45 min to an hour nap, then everyone is gone by 6.

By then, she is demanding her dinner. When she's done with that, she starts signing for her bath; when bath is done, she signs for 'brush teeth', then she plays for a while with Mommy.

She is in bed by 7 or 7:30 and sleeps all night long.

She has been off the bottle completely for about a month now and never really missed it. I am so glad we did it when we did and didn't wait.

She eats just about anything we give her, but REALLY like peanut butter covered ritz crackers. This was discovered when Liz wanted to make some and dip them in chocolate for Christmas. Well, we made some but didn't end up dipping them and she gave one to Bella. They are like crack for her and she will still go to the counter where they were at the time and sign for 'cookie'.
We limit her to about 2 or 3 a day and she's not happy about that.

She is signing more and more, but she is so much more vocal than Cylie was.

She loves Barney and Signing Time.

She will look at the light switch and say 'On' and want you to lift her to switch it on. I don't think she realizes yet what it turns on though.

She loves to give kisses; well, she loves to act like she's going to. She will open her mouth wide and say 'Awe' while leaning towards you (she even does this to strangers out in public). She sometimes delivers, but sometimes she will turn her cheek at the last second to allow you to kiss her. Little diva!

She runs, especially if she has something she isn't supposed to like a cell phone or the remote.

She is a bit stubborn and refuses to use 'eat' and 'more', although she knows them.

She is a force to be reckoned with, and fights with Hunter any chance she gets. He is such a lover though and wants to kiss on her all day long (he is 6 weeks younger than her and about 3 inches taller and 4 pounds heavier). The funniest is when he hets her pinned down under his weight and is showering her with kisses and she is under him screaming with her arms and legs flailing! (does that make me a bad mom) I am going to try to get it on video.

She still has her pacifier at naptime and bedtime; no other time. They even stay in her bed along with her blanket which she has really become dependent on. The other day, I was rocking her (not really to sleep, but to calm her after a fit) and she wanted down. She went to her crib and reached through the bars to pull her blanket out. She then came back to the rocker for me to pick her up. So sweet!!!

I always feel like I've left something big off of these posts, but that's all I can think of now. I'll post more if I think of them.

I want to get some dress up picture done soon as well; I'll post those when I do.
